Transart Institute offers a global low-residency MFA and the only true low-residency PhD for artists. Keep your job. Exhibit, perform, bond internationally. Critiques, encounters, excursions, symposia, and workshops in New York, Berlin and Mexico City.
The Transart MFA is a two year creative practice program that consists of three 3-week summer residencies and two 1-week winter critiques that take place in either Berlin, New York or Mexico City.
The only true PhD for artists that is offered specifically for creative work: your practice is your research. It is a 2-3 year full-time low residency program that recognizes your art practice as research.
Guest artists and curators attend the summer academy to get a creative surge, gain fresh perspectives on their work, experiment in a protected, supportive environment and/or to strike out in new directions.
Both the low-residency MFA and PHD (only for creative work) are accredited by Plymouth University, UK.
