By Paolo Piscitelli
Instead of choosing one of my colleagues, with minimal tools and materials, paper, drawing materials and clay, I plan to establish a dialog with the Heishaus building. My work will be improvised on site. It will not be a performance, nor an installation, but a rubbing with an extraneous body. After being alone with the building I will report on our dialog in my public presentation.
My praxis as a sculptor is the path in which sculpture and philosophy are both the subject and the source of my work.
My sculptures are objects existing for themselves alone, but in the exercise of their productive movement, they always adjust to their environments.
