Jennifer Danos

 

Jennifer Danos (b. 1975 Chicago) is a visual artist whose work investigates real and perceived understandings of space, place and time at the intersection of art and architecture. Her work has been shown internationally, most recently at Mila Kunstgalerie in Berlin, the Art Paris Art Fair, the Artissima Art Fair in Torino, and the Thermen am Viehmarkt in Trier. Jennifer is the recipient of many grants and fellowships, including the Pollock-Krasner Fellowship in 2013 and the McKnight Fellowship in 2009. She was an adjunct professor in the Sculpture Department at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design before moving to Germany in 2013 for a residency at the Kuenstlerhaus Schloss Balmoral in Bad Ems. She currently lives and works in Berlin.
